To date, BlendJet has received approximately 329 reports of blades breaking during use, 17 reports of overheating or fires resulting in property damage, 49 reports of minor burns, and one report of a laceration injury.
Only The BlendJet 2 Portable Blenders Have Been Recalled
Only the BlendJet 2 Portable Blenders have been identified as posing serious safety risks. The special edition “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” “Happy Viking,” or the “Disney Princess” blenders feature the updated base and are not included in the recall.
The recalled products were available for purchase from various retailers, including Costco, Walmart, Target, and others, from October 2020 through November 2023. They were also sold online through BlendJet.com. Prices ranged from $50 to $75, depending on the model.
The Recalled Blenders Can Be Identified By Their Serial Numbers
